Dr. Rigoberto Guevara

Associate Professor of Spanish Modern Languages & Literatures

Rigoberto Guevara, Associate Professor (Ph.D. Arizona) completed his undergraduate studies and attained his Master Degree at George Mason University (Virginia). He earned his Ph.D. in Latin American Literature from the University of Arizona. His area of specialization is Latin American Modernist Poetry and also focuses on Latin American Poetry of Human Rights, Spanish Poetry, Latin American Culture and History, Applied Linguistics and Latin American Narrative. Among the seminar he teaches are Latin American poetry of human rights, Ruben Darío, and Modernism. His area of research includes Latin American Modernism, Latin American Poetry of Human Rights, and Latin American Civilization and Culture.
