French GTA Modern Languages & Literatures

Joanna Conings, French MA Graduate Teaching Assistant, started her academic career in Belgium where she studied Germanic languages and literatures (Dutch and English) and continued to get a Master in English with a specialization in creative writing at Creighton University (Omaha, Nebraska). Now, she studies French and is particularly interested in L2 education and acquisition. She is particularly interested in how to integrate popular culture in the L2 classroom and on the use of theater and movies to teach French. She is mainly interested in 20th - 21st century literature and in Translation.
