Who We Are

We are a group of students dedicated to the study of the Russian language, culture, literature, history, art, geography, and economics. To us, “Russia” does not merely mean one country and one nation, but instead all the countries and people now subsumed under the title of the Russian Federation.

What We Do

Some of our activities throughout the year include

  • Regular informal meetings to develop friendships among students who share a common interest in Russian language and culture
  • Authentic food festivals
  • Readings of Russian poetry and literature
  • Russian movies nights (with English subtitles)
  • Russian music concerts
  • Informal folk dances

For more information, download the Russian Club brochure which contains email addresses of the club officers. You may also contact Dr. Mila Saskova-Pierce or Irina Beloshapkina.
