Spanish GTA Modern Languages & Literatures

Biography:

Olatz Sanchez-Txabarri (Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain) is a doctorate student at the Spanish Section of the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures (DMLL) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). Her research specializes in Literature Written by Migrant Women studying literature from a gender and racial perspective to understand how migration affects women and their daughters and the relationships among them. She has taught different courses from the Basic Spanish Program as a GTA at the DMLL, and (for the Academic Year 2021-2022) at the University Honors Program as the Center for Transformative Teaching (CTT) Honors Associate. She is also the coordinator for the Study Abroad program at the University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain.
