Prix Recherche au présent
À l’occasion des trente ans du 20th and 21st-Century French and Francophone Studies International Colloquium, Anne Mairesse (University of San Francisco) et Anne Simon (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) ont créé le Prix Recherche au présent pour récompenser chaque année le travail novateur d’un.e doctorant.e en prise sur les débats et les enjeux qui fondent notre modernité, jusque dans notre contemporain, et ayant un lien avec le thème annuel fixé par les organisateurs/organisatrices du Congrès. Elles l’ont présidé de 2011 à 2019.
La Présidence du Prix Recherche au présent est assurée, à partir de 2020, par André Benhaïm (Princeton University) et Valérie Loichot (Emory University).
Le Prix est décerné au cours du colloque, et la communication retenue est publiée sous forme d’article développé dans la revue Contemporary French and Francophone Studies : SITES. Le Lauréat ou la Lauréate reçoit également un montant de 1000 dollars.
Le Prix Recherche au présent espère ainsi apporter son soutien aux doctorantes et doctorants participant au Congrès et promouvoir le développement des études de langue française à l’international. Il est subventionné par le Centre de Recherches sur les Arts et le Langage (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales / Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique), Princeton University et la Société d’Étude de la Littérature de Langue Française des XX-XXIe siècles.

Prix Recherche au présent
On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the 20th and 21st-Century French and Francophone Studies International Colloquium, Anne Mairesse (University of San Francisco) and Anne Simon (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) inaugurated an annual prize, the “Recherche au présent” award. The goal of this award is to recognize innovative research by a doctoral student whose advanced research engages important modern and contemporary debates in the field and whose submission is linked to the given annual theme of the colloquium. They were Presidents of Prix “Recherche au présent” from 2011 to 2019.
Starting in 2020, André Benhaïm (Princeton University) and Valérie Loichot (Emory University) are the Presidents of Recherche au présent award.
The prize-winning paper will be recognized during the Colloquium and will be published as a fully developed article in Contemporary French and Francophone Studies: SITES. The winner will also receive a monetary award of 1000 dollars.
The Recherche au présent award seeks to encourage and support doctoral students attending the Conference, as well as to advance and promote French and Francophone studies in the context of international academia. This prize is sponsored by the Centre de Recherches sur les Arts et le Langage (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales / Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique), Princeton University and the Société d’Étude de la Littérature de Langue Française des XX-XXIe siècles.
